In April 2019, Philippa was approached by the WA Museum to see if she was interested in creating a watercolour painting of ‘WA wildflowers, particularly from Kwongan habitats’ for the new museum.
While staying home, Philippa has been busy creating a range of new works. These works draw upon the extensive field drawings made during decades of 'going bush'.
"Artists often struggle to capture vast landscapes in a small piece of artwork, but through her fold-out format, Philippa has managed to masterfully depict the story of the grass tree in the landscape." - Phil Tucak
