Banksia sphaerocarpa var. dolichostyla. A rare banksia. Painted from a tree found in the Bremmer Range, southwest Western Australia.
"We were lucky to find this declared rare banksia in full flower because the next year the plants were all burnt in a major bush fire.
The varietal name refers to the very long pistil."
Completed in 2021.
